How does the Engage Touch check-in screen work?

The Engage Touch patient check in screen is a straight-forward system for patients to use. The patient simply touches the screen to select their sex and date of birth to verify their identity and they are booked in for their appointment.  With next day delivery, your patients could be checking in using Engage Touch tomorrow.

Our Engage Touch system has successfully booked in over 41 million patients!  Based upon 1 minute saved per patient and £9ph for a receptionist’s time, we’ve saved the NHS nearly £6.15m in staff costs alone.

Capture of QoF data comes as standard and is coded back in to the patient’s record.  As we fully integrate with EMIS, Vision and TPP, there is no need to buy a check in screen and call in screen from one supplier.  Surgeries are free to choose the solution which is the most cost effective, offers the greatest functionality and backed up by a dedicated support team.

Wiggly-Amps is the only patient self check-in kiosk touch screen provider to design and build both the hardware and software.  That is why our products are nearly half the cost of our closest competitor and we offer all our touch screen customers a lifetime hardware warranty, which no one else can match. Our Support Package

Engage Touch is extremely reliable, but if it is not performing as it should, simply call our help desk on 01263 834648 (manned during UK office hours). We will diagnose the fault and endeavour to provide the fix there and then.

If there is a hardware problem, unlike our competitors who will force you to buy a new touch screen, we care passionately about our customers and will send out a replacement touch screen free of charge, without quibble and irrespective of the age of the unit.

Installation Instructions

In essence, Engage Touch patient check in screen needs two things in order to function: access to mains electricity and a network point to allow it to ‘talk’ to your appointments system.

If you do not have a network point available, we can provide  a Wi-Fi option for your Engage Touch.

Once your screen is in place, please call Wiggly-Amps support team on 01263 834648 so that we can install the software and ensure you are up and running.



An Engage Touch patient check in screen costs £1823 +VAT including the first year’s support.

Our support package costs £274 +VAT a year thereafter.

If you do not have a live network socket where the Engage Touch is to be located, we can supply Wi-Fi for a one-off cost of £75 +VAT.
