Designed originally to operate with our own EnCompass Appointments System, after many requests it is now available for other appointment systems! The Wiggly touch screen is a wall mounted, embedded computer with a high brightness 19" LCD and specially toughened touch screen glass. The unit is completely self contained within a very solid stainless steel case, just provide it with mains power and a network connection. The touch screen case is available in black as standard but can be finished in any colour of your choice to match the aesthetics of your reception area.

The touch screen is hung on the wall in your reception area, and displays a welcome message. It is very simple for patients to use and easy for the practice to configure. The patient has the option to select a language from the first welcome screen by clicking on their national flag. The patient then simply touches the screen a few times to choose their gender and date of birth, the system then matches the patient to any appointments booked within a time window set by the practice. The patient is then marked as arrived on the appointments system and instructed where to wait.
If the system happens to find more than one patient of the chosen gender and date of birth then it will continue to ask questions such as surname until it can identify the patient. In the rare circumstance of not being able to identify a unique patient or the system cannot find an appointment booked in the time window the system will simply ask the patient to go to reception.
Reliability and Support
The Wiggly Touch Screen is extremely reliable. The only moving part in the system is the computers hard disc drive which is designed to give at least 5 years of service. But things can go wrong, and if they do we are here to help. We have developed a support strategy for our touch screens to ensure that you are fully covered for problems and failures and can have a replacement working within a day.
The Touch Screen Support Package
Your touch screen is not performing as it should - call our helpdesk which is manned during office hours. We will diagnose the fault and hopefully provide the fix there and then. If the problem is software related we may have to dial in (we can only do this with your consent) to investigate the problem.
If the problem is due to a hardware failure we will dispatch a replacement screen immediately for next day delivery. When your replacement screen arrives - remove it from the packaging, plug it in, hang it on the wall and replace the locking screw. Place the failed screen in the re-usable packaging and we will arrange for collection.
The touch screen support package costs just £200.00 (excl.VAT) per year
