| Q. My surgery has multiple patient waiting areas, can an automated system cope? |
| A.The touch screen software will direct the patient automatically to the correct waiting area for their appointment. To enable this function the specific waiting area for each consultation room needs to be set up. |
| Q. What happens if the patient enters the wrong details? |
| A. The patient is given the option to retry or is directed to reception. |
| Q. What happens if the patient reports to reception? |
| A. No change, patients can still be booked in by a receptionist |
| Q. What happens if a patient has multiple appointments? |
| A. The touch screen software lets you decide during the configuration phase: the system can either book the patient in for all their appointments or their first appointment only. |
| Q. What happens if there are more than one patient with the same date of birth and gender and surname (yes it does happen!) |
| A. The patient will be asked to report to reception, the practice can set additional parameters such as the first letter of the patient surname to help avoid this happening. |
| Q. How do I clean the touch screen? |
| A. Use a standard PC cleaning cloth and wipe the screen and case. Please do not use water or cleaning chemicals. |
| Q. Can the touch screen provide any statistics? |
| A. Yes the touch screen software keeps a count of the number of successful book-ins. |
| Q. Do I have to have the support package? |
| A. No - you have the choice. The touch screen is very reliable and it comes with a one year warranty for parts and labour. If a failure occurs within the first year we will ask you to return the screen to us, we will send you the packaging. You will not be charged for the repair but you will be charged for the transportation costs. Note that you will be without your touch screen for the duration of the repair. |
| Should a failure occur outside the warranty period you will be charged the full cost of the repair, replacement parts and transportation and will be without your touch screen for the duration of the repair. |
