Wiggly Touch Screen Screenshots

This is the welcome screen displayed on the Touch Screen at all times whilst idle.

The languages available can be configured by the surgery. If necessary the patient selects their language by touching their national flag.

To begin they would then touch the flashing start button.

The touch screen can be configured by the practice to first display a message to the patient before they proceed to book in for their appointment.

The patient is first asked to identify their gender by touching the appropriate answer.

A 'back' arrow is always available in the top left corner throughout the screens in case a mistake is made.

The patient is then asked to choose the month in which they were born.

The patient is then asked to choose the day on which they born. In this example they would need to select the digits individually.

The Touch Screen has a few different methods for choosing the date of birth, the practice would select which method to use from the Touch Screen Console.

If the gender and date of birth produces a unique match within your clinical system the patient will be asked to confirm their name.

If there happened to be more than one match then the Touch Screen would ask the patient to enter their surname first.

Once the system has confirmed the patient, it will check for any appointments the patient has booked in the time window specified by the practice.

The patient will be booked in for their appointments within your appointment system and a confirmation message is shown to the patient.

If your practice has more than one waiting room, the Touch Screen can be programmed to instruct the patient to go to the appropriate waiting room.

The system is also capable of displaying a message taken from your appointments system, for example if you need a particular patient to come to reception for any reason(currently only available for iSoft Premiere).

The finish button is there so that the patient can clear their personal details when they have booked themselves in to preserve confidentiality.

If the system is unable to find the correct patient or is unable to find an appointment in the specified time window then the Touch Screen will simply display a message asking the patient to contact reception.

Here you can see the console which the practice will use to configure their touch screen. You can easily control what is displayed on the touch screen, the languages available and the rooms used by each waiting room if necessary.
